Rated 1 out of 5 by from So shockingly bad :( I have been a Fusion Ink foundation user for several years and absolutely loved it...went to purchase a refill last week and find out it had been discontinued. :( So I carefully read the description of this new 'All Hours' foundation, and decided it surely must be the new & improved version of my old favorite. When I tried it, I honestly thought this must be some kind of joke. It is COMPLETELY different in every way, but the worst part of it is that it feels like actual clay that you're trying to 'painfully' rub onto your face. It's literally the most dry and cakey consistency that you have to drag onto your face and completely pull your skin in order to try to get it off of your finger and onto your face. The texture is appalling, when compared to the beautiful silky fusion ink one. :( I still am in disbelief that this is really a product that any company let alone YSL would ever put out. Have been a faithful and enthusiastic YSL customer for years, but have to go to the mall tonight to return it and start searching for a new foundation from a different company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally the best foundation. I was looking for a flawless, lightweight, long wearing formula and this was the one I gravitated towards. First off, I was lucky in the shade range...I am very fair, with a true neutral undertone and often have a difficult time finding a foundation that matches precisely. BR10 is an exact match. It covers like a dream, blends easily, lasts all day and yet, looks really natural with a slight glow that I LOVE. I use the touch eclat blur primer underneath, and the two pair very well for my sensitive, slightly dry skin. Blush and powder layer well on top of it, and I never have to think about or touch up my face throughout the day. I'm so impressed with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing replacement for a perfect foundation I used Fusion Ink Foundation for so long that it became a part of me! I was so disappointed that it was discontinued and replaced with this. It’s an OK foundation, but is much heavier and does NOT go on as wonderfully smooth as Fusion Ink! It looks much heavier on the skin and does not last all day for more oily skinned people like myself. Unfortunately I have to apply a powder over this foundation and still do not get an all-day wear. It still has a wonderful scent and does not clog pores (although I feel like it accentuates more than conceals my pores) and is a good quality product but still I am really hoping YSL Beauty will consider bringing back Fusion Ink! :( This one just do doeant feel right!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So unhappy with this re formulation of ink fusion I loved, loved ink fusion! The coverage was so natural on my skin. This new 24 hour formula is thick and pastey making me look like I have on too much makeup! Please bring back ink fusion-I am now having to go experiment with other lines in search for a foundation that just comes close! I have tried purchasing it on line with no avail in my shade B40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE! I love this foundation! I used to use Lancome 24hour and I liked it, but I just didn't love it. I'm so glad I gave YSL a try. I have brown spots on my face and a little redness around my nose, and this covers it up wonderfully! It looks really natural and really does last! It doesn't feel heavy either! I apply mine in circular motions with the "airbrush" make-up brush from Sephora.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just average I tried All Hours foundation after learning that Fusion Ink was discontinued hoping it would work to even out my oily skin, but I find that it is difficult to blend and accentuates my pores. Fusion Ink worked well for me and I loved how it melted into my skin. I'm disappointed that it has been discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my best friend After failing with 7 other foundations I found completeness with this one. I should have come to YSL at the beginning of my journey toward non-cakey, full coverage, long-lasting-without-breaking down-or-separating coverage. They provided long-lasting liquid lipstick years before it was mainstream. I have always trusted their color, I should have trusted their base. I have battled redness since I was 12 so a full coverage foundation is a requirement for me. I exfoliate 3 times per week, so I'm certainly not putting obstacles in front of foundations. Many foundations claim to last for hours without breaking down but this is the only one that has fulfilled that claim, for me. Typically, I apply this between 7:30 and 8am and I don't take it off before 9pm. All Hours covers my redness, my pores, and evens my skin tone beautifully (I have experienced only one other foundation which does those three for me but it does not last half the time of the YSL All Hours). I use setting powder after applying this, therefore I do not touch up throughout the day. It does not dry out my skin, but I have mildly oily skin so I wouldn't expect it to. If you are looking for the perfect full coverage foundation that doesn't look like old school stage "cake" makeup, I encourage you to try this. I don't look as though I'm wearing a heavy layering of foundation with this. Actually, I apply just one layer and that one layer is my miracle. If you have oily skin or redness, like me... Apply your moisturizer, serums, etc. 20-30 minutes before All Hours (this gives your skin time to drink it in). Blot your face with tissue or blotting paper before applying All Hours. I apply this foundation with a super soft round "airbrush" foundation brush. I pump the foundation on the back of my hand, swirl the brush in a little, tap around on the area to be covered, then swirl to blend and cover. I do this to the center of my face, then each cheek. Then I set lightly with powder. I know experts say to stay away from brushes if you have redness, but a soft brush doesn't agitate. I used a beauty blender for years but threw it out last spring when I realized it was adding to the cakey uneven texture of my foundation, no matter how wet or dry, how much or how little I applied.

I am also curious about the denatured alcohol content/ingredient of this product. Will it damage my skin over time? I love the way this product looks and feels but I don't want to damage my skin. Can you please provide some insight?

Asked by: Pendant
It is a good possibility. My skin is very sensitive to alcohol and even though I loved this foundation it didn’t work for me because of that fact. Hopefully they come out with more formulas because YSL is amazing.
