The top note, composed of nectarine and litchi, creates an exacerbated sparkling and fruity sensation. At the heart, the absolute femininity of a rose harmony, which invites violet blossom to the party. The base is unveiled inside assumed sensuality that nothing can hold back. Patchouli helps to retain the sophistication and elegance from which the Yves Saint Laurent woman never strays.

Mechaele N: I too have been wearing Yvresse ( previously named Champagne :( ) 20 years + and have not been able to purchase the EDP for about 2 years so I sent an email to YVES SAINT LAURENT and they replied that the new packaging in the pink bottle named YVRESSE is still the same perfume we have all loved for years but it appears that its not available/for sale anywhere in Australia (I'm in QLD)!! I've also tried purchasing directly from YSL but they don't post to us! I'm currently trying to find out if this new pink Yvresse is the EDP as the EDT just does NOT SMELL the same, I've currently got a bottle of the eau de toilette in the old packaging (the champagne cork), YUK....
Anyone in AUSTRALIA got any other info????

patricia b: hi Janice - i am in Western Australia and i am having trouble buying yvresse too. I also have been using it for a couple of decades - while it was still called champagne (until the french took them to court because champagne (the name) was trademarked as the drink . i am hoping against hope that they have not discontinued it - i will be devastated. patricia. Janice R: Janice: I've been told that it was being discontinued ( I also live in Australia). I've been wearing Champagne/ Yvresse for 20+ years so am devastated that it is no longer available. I went to as many chemists in my area & purchased the last 6 bottles that I could find. I went on to this website to see what they were saying about why Yvresse was discontinued and what it was being replaced with but it still seems available online. A little confused . Maybe it isn't being distributed to Australia anymore. May 1, 2014

A shopper asked: I have just finished my last drop of Yvresse perfume which I has been the only perfurme I have worn for 25+ years. I am always asked the name of my perfume by passers by who have been taken by the fragrance. I was thus devastated today when I was told by several outlets in Western Australia that this perfume is no longer available or being produced. Is there any way that this decision that has been made by YSL be reversed? Mar 14, 2015

Diana B: This is the same fragrance marketed only by YSL at places like Bergdorf Goodman. It is now ONLY available in the US at YSL. The ones that are being sold by Target or in kiosks are FAKES and are marketed in the old style bottle. This newly designed bottle is the REAL thing and is still as wonderful as ever. I first bought it in 1994 and still am loving it. Jul 18, 2013

David R: I also am in your shoes! First they called in Champagne now Yvresse. The YSL website said it was not available and would notify me when they got it back in. That was. 6 months ago so I assume they have quit making it. There are old bottles you can get on external websites or Ebay . This is my only perfume and my signature scent. I am very disappointed. A shopper asked: its parfum or not ? Dec 2, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
leslie w: It is eau de parfum. 2.7 fluid oz or 80 ml. Forgive me if you know this already but scent usually comes in 3 strengths or concentrations 1. eau de toilette, 2. eau de parfum, and 3. parfum. Parfum or perfume is the most concentrated and the most expensive. Bottles are usually very small and quite expensive. This appears to be eau de parfum -- a weaker concentration than the perfume but stronger than the eau de toilette. The staying power on this one is very good. It is one of my winter favorites. Hope that helped. Dec 2, 2014

Faye F: I too loved YSL Champagne for many years and loved it and always received compliments when I wore it. I have tried the Yveresse and though it is similar to Champagne, I found that the scent does not last as long as the original Champagne even though the scent is very similar to Champagne. I hope tht YSL will bring back my Champagne!
I do not know anything about the body lotion though I would love to try it if you find where they have it., I have asked everywhere about Champagne, and no one has it.,
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck

Elaine J asked: Will you ever bring back the original Champagne/Yvresse as the new one does not smell anything like it. I have just finished my old bottle and I am mortified you can no longer get it. My daughter (all grown up) was visiting a while ago and we got in the car together and she said 'you smell like Mum' I hadn't seen her for awhile but that was the smell she grew up with. How can they call this Yvresse if it just isn't? Jun 19, 2015

The BEST !!!! Why is it so hard to find? I get so many compliments when I wear Yvresse I see the bottle has been changed again--maybe getting ready for a new release??? I hope so.

I have been wearing this scent since it was still called Champagne. This version still smells nice but it dosn't have the staying power of the original. Don't get me wrong, I still intend to drown myself in it but I would be happier if YSL made it more easily available again. It's like going on the black market to be lucky to find a bottle most times.
