Questions and Answers
Also, I'm 23 this year with dark eye circles and one fine line under my right eye.
Since this product is for more mature skin types, is it too early to use it and will it cease to be effective when I get older? Feb 21, 2014
As far as I know there is no better product out there. If it is thick, you can use a little less.
hope this helps.
(I am a 48 year old guy. Good skin for my age, but 48 is old(!!) and i only use products when I am dressing up and going out and that sort of thing.) Feb 21, 2014
I've been pretty much "hooked" on this cream for the past 5 years because nothing compares to it. Whenever I strayed for a week by using something else, I could see the difference, so I learned to stop doing that. However, I was already 10 years older than you when I first started it and I'm 38 right now.
As you know this is an expensive eye cream to purchase every 2 months but it is also very moisturizing and generally effective, so over time I started to use it only at night. Currently I am using YSL's Forever Youth Liberator on my eyes for day, and Temps Majeur Eye for night, but I have also happily used Chanel's Ultra Correction Lift or Hydra Beauty Gel Yeux for day while sticking with Temps Majeur for night.
YSL's Forever Youth Liberator Eye Creme has a firming and brightening effect and it's very good for dark circles, so I'd consider it if I were you.
If you're very excited about using Temps Majeur, I don't think there's any harm in buying it just once and using it at night, especially during the colder/drier months, and then see how you feel after that. But I suggest you also try Forever Youth Liberator (which is more suitable for your age and for that "one fine line" that you mention) and see if that does it for you.
I am not a chemist nor am I dermatologist but I am a very experienced skincare consumer and although I'm not sure whether this eye cream will "cease to be effective" as you get older, I am pretty sure that most other creams will in fact "cease to be effective" once you've gotten used to this baby. And you're still so young!
Good luck. Feb 21, 2014
This is an excellent product to start using. The Temps Majeur usually lasts me anywhere from 2-3 months. I use it at night mainly. Since the cream is very rich, I do not use it during the day because of my naturally oily skin. (I don't want it mess up my concealer)
So I use a different solution for the day time; unless I choose not to wear make-up. Feb 21, 2014
I don't think you are ever too young to start with good skin care but I don't know about the product ceasing to be effective as you age. Feb 21, 2014
It's not so much age as how your skin looks and what you are hoping to accomplish Nov 12, 2012
I am 45 and I have been using it for a year now. Nov 12, 2012
