Been wearing Opium exclusively for over 30 years! I get so many compliments! Mar 28, 2013
Personally, I prefer the parfum because it lasts longer - I do not need as much when applied, and the fragrance seems to last longer throughout the day.. Feb 15, 2014

Why did the scent change. I do not like the new scent at all. When is the scent we love going to be on the market??
I will have to find a different scent if it does not return. Will you let me know???. Apr 30, 2013
I to miss the body oil which I loved as well. I did not care for all the versions of this product that YSL tired to introduce. Stick to the standards - when it is good don't change it. Feb 11, 2014
I agree with you, the Opium perfumed body oil spray is not available anymore, at least not in this country. I plan to buy some in Paris this summer as I understand it's still available there. I've worn Opium since it came on the market and the perfume is still tops. The formula hasn't changed for the perfume, just the spray. Feb 11, 2014
I am sorry that I cannot help you with your ptoblem. Opium has always smelled like true Opium to me. Feb 10, 2014
To know if the 'recipe' has changed, you would have to ask the company that makes it.
As for me, I can tell no difference between the fragrance that I put on today and the fragrance I wore back at the very beginning.
It is simply a part of my life. Mar 19, 2014
I love it all. I'm extremely happy with Yvess Saint Laurence products. I just love spoiling myself with them.

......2oz Eau de Toilette it kinda slides down....but I can't get to it !!!!!!!! Mar 19, 2013
It took me a fair while but i finally figure out that the 'stopper' is like a cork and simply pops out, but my one was crooked (somehow) ....like when you put the lid back on a jar crooked and it can get stuck if you screw it down too hard..... so I got the back of my Mouse Pad (yes, thats right my Mouse Pad) and put that on the stopper and twisted one way while i twisted the bottle the other way...firmly, but gently.
The bottle actually does not have to come out of the plastic hard cover ...but I did discover it kind of pushes upward from the outer bottom corners so that the bottle 'can' be removed from the plastic case IF you want it out...but I really had to play around with it to get there.
I hope this helps you. And THANK YOU for answering my query too. GOOD LUCK
