A shopper asked: IS this Foundation Oil Free or paraben free? Aug 11, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (28) No (5)
Daisy: I don't believe it is oil free, but it doesn't seem to have mineral oil in it, which is the one you have to worry about. But everyone i've read reviews from said it didn't clog their pores. It is formulated without:
-Parabens
- Sulfates
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan

Barbara U asked: If I use the Touche 'Éclat Foundation, will I still need to use the Touche 'Éclat Radiant Touch pen? I love the pen, by the way; it works very well over my current foundation. Nov 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Nancy C: I've also loved the Eclat Radiant Touch pen for a long time, so I expected marvelous results from the makeup. Very sorry to report that yes, you certainly will need the pen--at least I do. I won't purchase the makeup again; I've already given it away. I'll stick to my "old" foundation and will continue to use the pen, thus achieving the desired result. Nov 8, 2013

Barbara U: Thank you - I've heard from others that the foundation is "thin" and does not cover well. Nov 8, 2013

natasham: This foundation is for a beautiful radiant natural look, so not suggested to those who want a more sophisticated and fuller coverage. But you will need the pen to compete a radiant complexion. I work for YSL and all my customer absolutely LOVE it, but wouldn't suggest to women who don't like a natural foundation. Better going for Youth Liberator Serum Foundation, Teint Resist or Perfect Touch. Nov 29, 2013

TiffanyA asked: Is this foundation full coverage? I am looking for a foundation that is full coverage to cover acne scars! Feb 12, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Bonnie C: I would not call it full coverage, but I put it on very lightly so it does not collect in my pores. However, the more you apply, the better coverage you will have. If you need to apply more, do it in layers of coverage for best results and blend well with a blender sponge or foundation brushes. I use a similarly colored concealer after I apply the foundation and work it in with a precision flat head concealer brush. The combination works very well for a flawless finish. I use the YSL Radiant Touch to cover dark under eye circles and work it in with a tapered or angled concealer brush because it is lighter than the foundation. The combination works very well. Using this foundation along with the YSL Flash Radiance primer may give you even better coverage and will give you a nicer finish. If you still need more coverage, you could apply a powdered or pressed mineral foundation in lieu of a finishing powder on top of this product. I don't know if YSL makes one, but I have used another brand for extra coverage and have been able to seamlessly combine the two products in ivory colors. This product should even out the overall appearance of your skin to help give you a nice finish. Give it a try. I think you will like this foundation. Feb 12, 2014

TiffanyA: Thank you so much!!! I am getting it! :) Feb 12, 2014
Bonnie C: You are welcome. I use the Sigma precision kit brushes for concealer and sometimes the Sigma kabuki brushes for foundation if I put too much product on my face that can't effectively be removed with the beauty blender. I don't know of any other company, including YSL, that makes the precision brushes, but they work fabulous on cream products (I use other manufacturers for powder based products like eye shadows, shadowing blending, blush, finishing powder, etc.). Most beauty experts apply concealer before foundation, but I find that it removes a lot of the concealer. By using the precision brushes, I can seamlessly use the two products together because I just tap the concealer with the flat brush until the two products blend. You might want to try the YSL Anti-Cernes cream concealer. I have not tried it, but it has good reviews both for acne and dark circle coverage. Since YSL makes it, hopefully the two products will match fairly well and can be blended together with the flat head concealer brush. I wish you the best! Feb 13, 2014
TiffanyA: Sounds like that will work for me. I have Sigma brushes as well (F80 Flat top foundation brush and a few other faces brushes and eye shadow brushes) They work great! I used to have acne (for like 7 months only and finally got rid of it a month ago) I was using the Laura M. Silk Cream foundation and it covered pretty well Feb 13, 2014
Susanne L: Hello- this foundation has very sheer, lightweight coverage. While it will help tone down redness to give an overall healthier appearance to your skin, it definitely won't cover scarring. Le Teint Touche Éclat is more of a perfecting foundation, for those whose skin doesn't have any huge issues. In a sense, it does make what you have look better...but it won't completely transform the skin. There are many other full coverage options available however. Good luck! Feb 13, 2014
Reply to Susanne Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Bonnie C: I agree that your description is accurate, but the overall finish with this product is beautiful. I have been able to use it even though I need extra coverage for some areas of my face. I have tried very expensive full cover liquid foundations produced by leading manufacturers and they make me look like I am wearing theatre make up. Often times they leave a make line that is noticeably different in color from my skin tone. They also collect in my pores and make me look like I have whiteheads because I wear ivory shades. (Also pore clogging products are not good for people with sensitive skin and prone to break outs). Therefore, I abandoned these products. My solution has been to use a lighter weight coverage foundation for overall appearance coupled with a good concealer and a loose powder mineral foundation in lieu of translucent finishing powder when I want fuller coverage (but go easy on it or the result is chalky). I think the secret is in the application more so than in the product. A lighter weight product can be layered to achieve the same result as a full coverage product. Precision concealer brushes can work wonders to combine products. My other suggestion would be to contact YSL directly to inquire whether it offers a similar heavier liquid foundation product (i.e. one that gives a fabulous overall finish and heavier coverage). A cream or mousse foundation could be a possibility, but they are usually recommended for drier skin. Feb 13, 2014

A shopper asked: I was wondering how this product works with acne skin? Oct 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
MARIA T: I get acne occasionally. This foundation did not break me out at all. Coverage is medium so you may need a concealer to cover deeper scars or recent break outs. NLT I find that staying away from foundation during a break out also helps with acne. And taking off my make up real well before going to bed is a must. I highly recommend Le Teint Touché Éclat. Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Sylvia W: Yes you will be able to find a color light enough for you. I have fair skin as well. I bought the Le Teint Touche Éclat in the shade of BR20. Don't ask me what the BR stands for because I couldn't figure it out. But anyway the color was light on my skin. Click on where it tells you how to figure out what shade is right for you. And you will be able to see the shade they recommend. May 18, 2013

MARIA T: It is a pretty fair colour. But it all depends on the undertones of your skin. I don't have pink or yellow in my skin. It's not the lightest colour, but I don't like my foundation to be too light because I look washed out. Best advise I have to give is go try it somewhere during the day. And wear it out in natural light. Then see if you like it. May 19, 2013

Beth K asked: Hi I tried a sample of this and thought it covered well. My question is, will this clog my pours? I tend to have oily skin. Jan 17, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Renee T: Hi Beth! I love this foundation.... the texture is silky and light yet gives good coverage, the radiance factor makes my skin look very smooth. I happen to have somewhat larger pores in my t-zone area and find that it does not sit in the pores. I'm not sure what you mean by 'clogging' your pores. if you use the appropriate cleanser for your skin type and cleanse thoroughly each evening I wouldn't think you'd have any issue. Since you have oily skin I'm not sure having the extra 'radiance' is what you are looking for especially if you live in a humid climate!....I think it is very well suited for normal/combination/dry skin! I live in Chicago. I also thought it was well-priced and I like the pump although for travel I will be pumping it into a smaller container. You don't need much to get great results! Jan 17, 2013

therese s asked: Hi,

I´m having trouble with understanding the difference beetween Le Teint Touche Eclat and Teint Resist. I have a dry skin and want a medium coverage or a buildable. Which one do you suggest for me and why?:-)
Kind Regards Therese
Dec 19, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Teresa H: Le Taint Touche Eclat is a lighter coverage foundation. It is a step above a tinted moisturizer, but has a nice smooth finish to it. It is better for dry skin than Taint Resist. To make it last throughout the day, I would suggest setting it with a powder. It also only takes me one to two pumps to cover my entire face, so it lasts a long time. For those with sensitive skin, this seems to be the better option. Taint Resist lasts longer throughout the day and is a medium coverage foundation. This foundation is easier to build, but does not have as smooth of a finish. It is a good choice for oily skin. For people with dry skin, I would usually suggest Le Taint Touche Eclat. If amount of coverage is more important, I would suggest Taint Resist and a good moisturizer. I hope this helped.

Thanks for your great information. It's a bit tricky then, since I have a dry, sensitive skin but want medium coverage and definetely something that last the whole say. Regards Therese Dec 19, 2013
Kimberly C: I have dry skin and love Teint Touche Éclat. Teint Resist is better for those with oily skin. When I sampled Teint Resist, it seemed to accentuate the areas of my face that were drier than others. I don't have that problem with Touche Éclat. Hope this helps. Dec 19, 2013

Jeffrey M: Hi Molly. I used Teint Radiance (This may be what you are referring to above) (Shade: Opal) before I decided to try Touche Eclate Foundation (Shade: BR 20) when it came out. I do not really see much difference. Both worked great for me. However, please keep in mind: unlike Teint Radiance Foundation, Touche Eclat Foundation does not provide UVA protection, only UVB (the active ingredients they list only protect against UVB rays, NOT UVA). I use a moisturizer with UVA+B sunscreen, and I never rely on the broad spectrum sunscreen in the foundation anyway, as I do not normally apply enough foundation to make spf work. However, it may be something to consider for others as it is UVA which causes sun damage and premature skin aging.
I any event, you may want to ask for a sample at YSL counter before you decide to switch. I hope this helps. Good luck,
Olya

Jeffrey M: Hi again, Molly: I allow myself to quote the comment from Trish E. below (it will give you more info about the differences):

"Trish E: Le Teint Touche Eclat is sheer-medium coverage with a natural finish. It lasts all day but it doesn't have a dewy finish like Teint Radiance. Le Teint Touche Eclat makes it look like your skin is flawless, it doesn't look like you are wearing foundation (even up close). It's a great everyday foundation but I still use Teint Radiance for parties and such (when I want my skin to look dewy)."

D J S: Good Evening to you Nadia:

I have very sensible skin and I am assure you that the make-up in no way would cause acne or any breakout.

I am a 73 year old woman, so your question of whether it is suitable for combination skin is yes - and that it is as light as a feather, but the coverage is perfect without being obvious that you are wearing it. Even though it is so light, the coverage is unbelievable due to the fact that I have darkness under my eyes and with this product, I do not have to use a coverup makeup. I have light olive skin (Italian) and ordered BR30 which has a tiny pink cast.

You will love this make-up and will not use any other after your first use.

Hope this helps.

Danielle M: B shades have a neutral undertone; BR shades have a pink undertone; BD shades have a yellow undertone. If you still need help, I would suggest using the foundation matrix on Temptalia. You can enter in a foundation brand/shade that you know is a good match for your skin tone and it will provide the suggested shade match in the YSL touch éclat. Mar 16, 2015

Vicki M: I was lucky enough to have a friend who let me try her foundation, which was Beige Rose 30. It was slightly too light for my skin, so I called the company, spoke to a rep, and asked what shade was slightly darker than that. I ordered it and found it a perfect match. I have fair skin that is a little pinkish. Mar 16, 2015

Melody L: I have only tried beige Dore And beige rose. The Dore has a cooler tone to it. It Cools warmth. I have warm cheeks and this helps neutralize my face. The beige rose is too pink for me. Added more color to my cheeks making me look too warm all over. I would assume the plain beige is for just a natural in between look. So depending upon what your looking for or what your base/natural face starts off as. It is a little pricey. Most stores that carry it can give you some samples. I honestly got a sample of beige Dore and fell in love with it. One bottle lasts a while. Beautiful, natural, luminous & blends wonderful.

jill g: This foundation is AMAZING, I used it for a while and yes it can leave a little bit of a shine. With any foundation I always like to set it for a complete MATTE look because a wet foundation even oil free is going to still have a sheen or a wet look. I use a airbrush brush from sephora it's long and soft and amazing and then I use either Laura Mercier translucent setting powder or I love to use hello flawless by benefits powder I just take the brush and use it after my foundation to create a flawless and matte look. Try that and you won't be disappointed! Also using a primer might help hourglass has a great one! Xoxox Nov 19, 2013

Debbie R: Anna,
I have not had this problem with this product. My skin is not oily, more like what people would call normal. Are you using moisturizer as well? Perhaps the combination is what's causing the oiliness. I use a moisturizer from my dermatologist under my makeup to help with fine lines. I hope this helps.

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Zinny Z: As you said you has pinkies cheeks and nose i would recommend to use yellow undertone foundation because this will help even out your skin color if you have redness on you face and you apply pink undertone foundation , it will only make the redness even more ( redness on your face doesn't mean you have pink undertone skin . You need to see you body skin tone as well ) Jun 17, 2013

Trish E: BR20 is the best match for fair skin with cool (pink or red) undertones. It will provide just the right amount of coverage for your rosacea, but give you a completely natural finish. Sep 12, 2012

Christine O: I just bought Le Teint Touche Dore in #50 and love it. As I have gotten older, I find that any foundation with pink undertones does not flatter my skin color and rather makes me look a bit like a clown. So, I opted to go middle of the road with the foundation color and was pleased with the purchase. The YSL webmeisters, however, changed the layout for the webpage and previously color descriptions appeared next to the product number. That has been eliminated and causes confusion for me especially since the range of colors has mushroomed to double digit numbers. At least I managed to discoverer the shade that worked best for me on the first attempt. In any case, you can never go wrong with YSL cosmetics. Aug 7, 2012

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Trish E: I would not recommend a warm (yellow or gold) undertone for skin with cool undertones. It will make your skin look unnatural. You can still wear a pink-based foundation that tones down pink coloration. BR20 is really the best match for fair skin with pink undertones. If you want to try a different undertone go with B20 since it actually has neutral (neither pink or yellow) undertones. However, BR20 will look more natural than B20. Sep 12, 2012

Kerri Ann M: Whether you mean shades meant for skin with a yellow undertone or shades that have a particular yellow undertone, I have yet to find a single shade that really stands out as a villainous daffodil. :) However, I have pale skin with dark hair and eyes, and have noticed that the fairer shades tend to show up as more beige than, say, Kat Von D's "Lock It" Foundation (personal favorite), Nars, Laura Mercier, or even on the less pricey side, Revlon's "ColorStay" line. Still, I really only have a huge problem with YSL in a lot of light- outdoors, fluorescence, etc. For my money, I would go with your gut. If you have the cash to spend, try it. If not, and you're light-skinned as well, try some of the others first maybe. Go your own way, but there you go... my two cents. :) Mar 31, 2015

Carol C: I have been wearing foundation for many years, and applying it is not even as important as knowing what type of foundation is right for you. If you watch some of the info shows on television, most of the time the women are not smiling and wear no makeup, and after application they smile and have full makeup on. If you trust the company, and understand the type of foundation that works well on your skin, it would be far easier to experiment yourself -- or even better, go to the counter, in this the YSL counter, and talk to a makeup artist or the line girl. Then perhaps have her instruct while showing you how to apply it. You will be the model in your own video! Feb 4, 2015

Valecia S: It goes on smooth and provides a radiance and that is unmatched. You ask what is the difference between this makeup, it is made so that it is natural, medium/light coverage and is great for those over 40. The matte makeup which this is not, is for those under 20-40 who have no lines, or wrinkles. I have been using this for a few years since first introduced and is light and weight-free and allows my skin to look beautiful, evens the complexion and allows for radiant young skin! Give it a try! Lynn L: I have fair to medium tone and rosacea. I started using YSL anti Verne's multiple action concealer on my cheeks, nose, forehead, etc. no. 3, 4 for summer? then I use 04 Estée Lauder oil control loose powder ,medium deep intensity 4.

Then use Estée bronze goddess 03 amber bronze medium powder blush all over.

I use this cuz most everything makes my skin itch after awhile. This is easy to wash off

Otherwise BB or CC cream work well without other make up to cover the redness.

Beverley A: The best advice I can give you is to use the chart with all of the models depicting all of the varieties of skin and hair color and pick the foundation that Yves St. Laurent Recommends. The chart is a link on the same page where you can purchase the foundation. I have dark brown hair with light skin with peach under tones, so unfortunately I cannot advise you to use what I use. However the chart is very accurate. I would refer you to the chart or to call someone in customer services. Oct 7, 2013

A shopper asked: WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR FOUNDATION COLOUR? Feb 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
MARIA T: I really don't know the most popular colour. But is does not really matter what is the most popular. You have to find the right shade for your skin tone. I use BD40 but it all depends on your skin tone and time of year. I buy a darker shade in the summer because I get a little darker. I think when they launched this specific foundation the samples they sent out were B30, which may mean that the color will match a lot of people with fair skin tone. I am all for the right match. I would visit a YSL counter and ask them to make me a sample to wear the foundation in natural light. Then decide. Feb 11, 2013

Colleen T: I'm sorry to say I don't have the right answer for you. I'm pretty fair, but will tan in summer. I bought two different shades to compensate for the season.
I use BD10 now in the winter months and combine it with the BD40 in the summer and fall. I also have yellow undertones. Sorry I have no better information for you.

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Bahareh B: Based on the color you mentioned on teint radiance, b80 or b90 are the closest to your color on le teint touche eclat. this is a matter of preference if you want to stay alittle darker or lighter than to your skin... or use the same color as your skin color. I would contact YSL and ask them to help you choose. but I think the closest to that shade is the ones I mentioned. hope this helps and enjoy shopping and your new foundation. Jolyn V: I have similar complexion as you. I'm also using Chanel B20 and Armani Luminous 4.5 right now. BD 10 was too pink and pale on me. B30 is perfect. If you use primer before put on this foundation, it will last longer. I think this foundation is perfect for winter. Nov 13, 2012

rena b: BR50 looks good for rosy undertones with medium tan complexion. I have used BR40 and I am light-med. I like this makeup as it is light, good coverage, smells nice too and the rosy is not too pink. Kitkat: Im not sure but it really isn't much if you are trying to compare with a foundation. It doesn't really work like a foundation so you wouldn't use anywhere near the amount, its for certain areas and I find using it on undereye, crows feet lines, forehead two lines and around lips and line between lip and nose it lasts a long time as long as a foundation would that is being used on the whole face. You don't need much it looks invisible but the benefits aren't. No comparison May 9, 2013

I love cosmetic products and have tried various foundation and I became addicted to the touche when I started to use it but this foundation is even better than the touch. As far as, shade really I chose the lightest for myself because I am very fair and i did not want my foundation to be darker than my skin.

I recently bought a chanel foundation, perfection lumiere with the colour 10 beige, but I consider that to dark. Which shade do you think will suit me? :) Thank you! Sep 3, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Trish E: Chanel perfection Lumiere in Beige (shade 10) is for women with neutral or warm undertones. Because you said that you have pink undertones I would recommend you try BR20 in YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat. That is the lightest shade for fair skin with cool (pink) undertones. Don't worry about the color not matching, because this YSL foundation runs lighter than Chanel and it will blend perfectly with your skin to give you a perfect finish. Sep 12, 2012

Sasha M asked: I tried a sample from Nordstrom in 6 It didn't show B, BR or BD, just "6". I loved very much the fondation itself but 6 is a little dark for me. I wear Diorskin Sculpt in 020 and Chanel in B20. Does anyone know what color of YSL Le Teint Touche will be similar? Thank you :) Sep 1, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Trish E: I generally wear shade B20 in Chanel (B30 during the summertime) and Dior Nude in shade 21. I am assuming your skin has either neutral (neither yellow or pink) or warm (yellow-based) undertones. If your skin has neutral undertones, Beige 50 would be the best match. If your skin has warm undertones, Beige Dore 50 will be your best match. If you are unsure whether you have neutral or warm undertones I would suggest you start with Beige 50 (because your shade in Dior is for neutral undertones and your shade in Chanel works for neutral or warm undertones). Shawn P: I've used 5 in the Perfect Touch Foundation, and 2 for the Touch Eclat pen. I was recommended BR30. I've only had it for a couple days, but the color seems to be a great match. As for the coverage, I'm pretty sure it's everything I've ever wanted in a foundation... slightly dewy, yet not shimmery and light, yet buildable. I hope this helps! Aug 24, 2012

Pamela B: It does not say on the package that this foundation is oil-free, but I have normal to dry skin & I did not find that it left an oily shine even after 8 hrs.
It does give a dewy look. Not shimmery. It has a light-med coverage, & is lightweight feeling.
I would recommend this foundation. I have mature skin w/ sun damage & a few fine winkles. Did not settle into the fine lines/wrinkles.

YSL B: Hi! Thank you for your question. We recommend shade B30 or B40. B40 has a slightly deeper sand beige undertone which I think would be a good match for you. I consider myself a medium beige, I'm blonde high lights, blue eyes with some red undertones, but not much. I like the lighest tube color,of the wand that I've been using for years. It melts into your skin & I didn't hear those words used for this product.

YSL B: Hi Robin! Thank you for your question. Yes, the foundation does have the same illuminating effect of our Touche Éclat pen.
Based on your description we recommend shade BD10 or BR20. BD10 is for fair complexions with golden peachy light beige undertones. BR20 is for fair complexions with rosy peach light beige undertones. Kelly asked: Hi, I was matched up to BD40 and got a sample and it just was perfect it blended in and couldn't see anything, I but later on in the day I noticed a slight yellow undertone that didn't match my neck, I swear it wasn't there when I put it on, I applied my make up in natural light so I just didn't understand, since then I have checked the chart and the colours don't make sense the BD30 is darker than the BD40 and the beige shades in B30/B40 seem even darker, I guess I must be beige, so my question is which beige shade is as soft/light as the BD40 (which I love) minus the yellow? please help I'm so confused : ( TY Dec 9, 2013

loretta p: Sorry the color didn't work for you. I'm a medium light w neutral undertones and it worked perfectly for me unlike Chanel and others that are very distinctly yellow. Le Teint Touche Éclat

Overall rating

This is my new favorite beauty product. I have been searching for a new foundation for two years now. This product does not cause breakouts for me, which I often have problems with foundations containing SPF. I purchased this product while I was in England this month. I like the amount of coverage, weightless feel, and luminosity. I also like the pump feature. The foundation is not the same as the Touche' E'clat pen, but has similar properties. I am trying to think of ways to describe this wonderful foundation, but all I can say is that it looks as if I am not wearing makeup, yet my skin glows. I feel confident wearing it.

I absolutely love this foundation. Covers imperfections nicely, makes my skin looking young and fresh. One of the best foundations on the market! I use it sometimes with two lovely things from YSL that help a lot - 'Top Secrets' Pore Refining Skincare Brush and 'Top Secrets - Flash Radiance' Skincare Brush. The combination takes no less that 15 years off my real age.

I love this foundation! It has a wonderful gel texture. It does not break me out, which just about every foundation out there does. It gives a beautiful radiance to the face. It also has an adjustable coverage. It goes on great with fingers , a brush, or a stippling brush. I have very oily skin and this isn't the best foundation for it, but because it doesn't break me out I will continue to use with my oil control lotion. I think this would be absolutely divine for dry or normal skin. Absolutely worth trying!

I LOVE this foundation! I purchased it after trying so many different kinds, from cheap drug store foundation to sorta high-end to high-end and I just wasnt happy with anything! I have nice skin but it tends to be on the dryer side, I also have freckles and this foundation is perfect for me! It has buildable coverage and my skin just soaks it all in, it's super hydrating and leaves my face looking flawless! I dont even need concealer when using this foundation. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this foundation after watching a video on the YSL Beauty website. I had been looking for something to help my skin look better in photographs. This product does the trick and when I wear it, I am constantly complimented on my skin.

I was so excited to find Beige Rose 20 in this foundation -- I am fair with pink undertones, freckles and auburn hair, and this shade matches my wintertime skin nearly perfectly. The foundation is medium coverage so I do need to apply additional concealer for undereye circles or any major blemishes. It applies beautifully with a foundation brush over a primer and lasts all day, and the finish is what I'd call "satin" - not shiny but not matte. My one complaint is that I do feel I need to apply a bit of finishing powder over this to make it less transferable; I find that this foundation shows up on scarves, coat collars, my cell phone, etc. which is frustrating. It does minimize pores and doesn't settle in the fine lines on my forehead.

I love this foundation. It won't work for people that have supper oily skin or someone that has skin that needs a lot of coverage. I think people that don't like this foundation don't like their own skin. I am a professional makeup artist and usually when people don't like the way their sin looks it because they can see the texture of their blemish's or scars. That's one thing to remember when looking at foundation, foundations are only to even out your skin tone. So just remember that when your looking at your foundations. This one evens out skin tone so perfectly and having such a range of shades is why I love this foundations! It will make your skin look so youthful.

This is by far the best foundation I've tried. I have super oily skin and this is the only foundation that seems to work well with my skin and also the only makeup I've been able to find that blends in well with my perfectly neutral skin tone (B30). I would not recommend this for someone looking for a heavy coverage makeup but if you have somewhat good skin and only need lightweight, hydrating coverage then certainly give this a try! It is pricey, especially for a college student like myself, but a little bit goes a long way and it is worth every penny as this is a high-end product where you get what you pay for.

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE WORST FOUNDATIONS IVE TRIED AND IVE TRIED THE MAJORITY OF HIGH END AND LOW END FOUNDATIONS ON THE MARKET,when i first brought this foundation i wanted to like it,the first time i tried it,i couldnt get any coverage at all,you could hardly tell i was wearing anything, until one of the ysl girls told me you need to use a brush to get any coverage,(not everyone wants to use a brush)the second time i tried it with a brush which was better i managed to get maybe sheer to medium coverage, which wasnt enough for me,it was also that thin and runny it settled in my fine lines,i also ended up with brush strokes where it took the foundation back off again in places if i went over the same area again trying to build it up as it took ages to dry,the consistancy is terrible and its realy not an easy foundation to work with,i had to spend alot longer than usual on my foundation to get it right, and even then it wasnt any better a finish than some drugstore foundations, the overall finish was not great.it also contains the dreaded ingredient propylene glycol which for those of us with very sensitive skin is a big no no,my doctor has told me to stay away from this ingredient.YSL seem to be discontinuing most of their foundation lines in replace of the teint touch eclat which is very dissapointing if this is the foundation that we will be left with, the only plus point i can say about the foundation is that it has a vast array of colours to suit different skin tones apart from that i think its an expensive load of rubbish.dissapointment for me im afraid

I've been waiting to try this forever after hearing so many great things about it! I was a bit skeptical to try it though just because I have oily and acne prone skin. However, I think it's fantastic. I haven't had the chance to wear it through a whole day, but I'm going to update as soon as I have. But just from wearing it for a couple of hours, I love it. It gives pretty good coverage and was a great color match. It also gives such a nice natural finish, and is hydrating which is nice for the winter time. I definitely recommend this. Xx

This product is exactly what I desired in a foundation; perfect match to my fair skin, medium coverage - enough to cover without looking like a mask, seems to minimize fine lines and pores, lasts all day, without irritating my sensitive skin. I never thought a product that was ideal for my skin tone, texture and temperament existed!

My DNA consists of mostly Native American, Czech and Irish, so my skin ended up extremely pale/fair, but with olive undertones from the American Indian side. If any of you out there have the same thing going on, you'll get what I mean when I say that our unique skin tone also happens to be a curse! It is so So impossible to find a brand 1. that carries a foundation pale enough to even be considered and then 2. one that doesn't wear too pink or too yellow/orange...and we're not really neutral either, but milky with golden, olive undertones. I have searched high and low for a good foundation with great coverage that matches my skin, and I am so happy that I don't have to look anymore! It can get really discouraging!! lol Seriously, guys, to all my fair skin, olive peeps out there, get this foundation in B10. It will be life changing!!!
