which item would be best to help reinforce the very weak and faint Paris toilette water. I had the perfume first and loved it, but this toilette water hardly lasts at all so I am wondering if the body creme or body lotion would help. I'd rather get the less expensive that will work well?

The body creme would definitely last longer and has a stronger smell like the eau de parfum. I had the lotion and it is thinner and has less of a scent.
The body creme is more expensive but it's worth it. It's thick and luxurious and the fragrance lasts much longer. Also the perfumed bath and shower gel has a nice fragrance to it. I use the shower get, body creme, and then the eau de parfum and it gives a really nice scent that lasts but is not overpowering. I only wish they still had bubble bath and body powder. Apr 5, 2012

Use the body creme (you don't need a lot) except during the hot summer. During the hot summer, use the body lotion. Better yet, go back to the perfume. I avoid any toilettes.

I use the shower gel and the body creme in lieu of the spray. The creme is easier to travel with and can just as easily be reapplied during the day.

I suppose it's all in the scheme of marketing strategies and department store profit margins as opposed to availability of display case space at an era when every emerging starlet launches her own line. Sad for the lack of instant gratification, but on-line ordering is good too. I am so glad that I'm not the only person complaining.
