Not knowing your skin tone -- mine has a pink undertone -- I can't say for sure. However, I have light skin too. It's not porceline but it is light. I use #4 and it's a perfect match for me.
The Ivory is really really light. I would say check your skin tone -- usually pink or yellow then choose the foundation that fits that.

I was using 2 (Blond) but during the summer it was almost too light so I jumped up to a 4 (Sand) and it is fine for a light complexion. I apply it very lightly - to even out the skin tones - so the change in color was not too extreme.

If you are looking for a product with full coverage, this may be your choice . The texture is refine with a silky touch. It's not oily but one has to carefully control the quantity. A little goes a long way. The key is to use the brush to even out the foundation to achieve the perfect effect. It may require to try a few times before you satisfy with it. Overall, I like this product and have bought it 2-3 times.

first of all you need to visit a YSL counter and have a color assessment done... you will find a clor to equalize the difference or variations in your skin coloring... this is not unique for anyone... your facial hue and the rest of your body never seem to match perfectly... so once you get a motch to tone down the pinkness... you will have your true color... you may however need to do a rematch in the summer as your hue could change with sun exposure... but the Perfect Touch is excellent in the naturalness of application .... lack of oiliness and in equalizing your coloring.... Hi Rene, my skin is also white but it does not go to pink. I bought #4 which is a soft beige that is really very easy to apply and blends well with the skin's natural moisture. I' m happy with it. Also it might neutralize some of the pink in your complexion. Hope it works out for you.

I hope my information helps you. First -- this is my absolute favorite foundation. I have pretty light skin with pink undertones and I use #4 -- sand. I wouldn't have thought that color would work from the information online -- I would have thought it too dark.
But it's truly my perfect color. As I said, my skin is quite light and I have no tan at all so going the next shade darker for a light tan skin would, I think, work.

I chose lighter than I thought I needed b/c it is for around the eyes and it worked well. One does want to avoid too light, but if you live near a store where the product is sold, the representative can match you perfectly.

I've used YSL Perfect Touch for several years and I find that it covers well, feels and looks light and does not become shiny. Regarding the color codes i believe they are pretty consistent. As to whether it's oil-free I have no knowledge. I hope this is helpful.

I would go with ivory if you have a fair skin ton, these colors are true color for me. Opal would too dark for you because this foundation does oxidize to a deeper color.
