Inspired by the Couture Tie & Dye, YSL nail lacquer plays colour in gradation effect just like a sophisticated total look. The coloured base is covered by a "pop coat" for a sugary glossy result. Top Coat can also be used alone for a “sheer” glittery result on the nails.

Janet M:It won't let me upload a picture, but it's lovely. Very subtle lavender shimmer. I didn't care for it alone (I typically like bolder colors) but it is the most gorgeous topcoat! Apr 3, 2013
Ann B:The purchase of these polishes was confusing. I wish they were more specific. I got the blue and it is just sheer. Disappointed but nothing of interest to show you.Apr 3, 2013
Nanci E. L:Can't send pic-Haven't used this yet. When this arrived it was emulsified to all one rose color then settled into layers-gimmicky-I don't have high hopes and would not purchase again.Mar 25, 2013
Beverly S:I really don't know how this is supposed to work. I purchased it with the thought that it would give me the "ombre" look but when I applied it ....I found out it just gave a pearly colored top coat look.....maybe I am not doing it right. Got to find out the next time I am at the YSL counter. I hope I answered your question.Apr 4, 2013
Ann B asked:Disappointing and Confusing. Do I have to buy all four for the desired effect? I bought the blue and it is nothing more than a shimmery top coat?Apr 3, 2013
Jenny B:That's what it is--a shimmery top coat. It's a different visual effect. Think of it like a seperated indie polish, that you have to shake up to use. It is not meant to create a tie dyed/marbled look--but a sugary, shimmery, opalescent appearance.Apr 4, 2013
