I love this eye pencil. It literally glides on my lower lash line without any tugging at all. It is also long lasting, though not waterproof. I have solved this by applying a makeup sealer afterwards. I haven't tried the waterproof one, but I like this one so much that I am sticking with it.

Trial & error unfortunately. I have a few pencils from different lines & some stay in place others I end up looking like a raccoon. So far I haven't had an issue with this eye pencil.

The only drawback which I forsee is that it might make your eye a little blurry since the formula contains oil which gives it the wonderful creamy texture which glides right on! Yes, this product is safe for the lower rim of the eye. You needn't apply a lot of pressure because it glides on smootlhy, thus you don't risk injuring yourself. The greatest perk, of course, is that it lasts pretty much all day (unless your eyes water).

I have several eye pencils from YSL. The colors are gorgeous and smooth. I only use them on my lower lid; not inner rim. I keep my eye pencils hygienic by sharpening them regularly. It also keeps the tip more precise.
